She was predeceased by: her husband Maco Thornton; and her sister Mattie Rene Newburn. She is survived by: her children, Prince Lee Eason (Kathalean) of Malvern, AR, Bennie Thornton of Arkadelphia, AR and Bobbi Thornton of Gurdon, AR; and her brothers, Alfred Jerry Smith of Arkadelphia and John Earl Perry (Willie Mae). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
