She was predeceased by: her parents, Willy Adam and Nettie Scroggins Stroud; her husband James Arthur Brooks; her brother Tracy H. Stroud; and her sister-in-law Muriel J. Stroud.
She is survived by: her daughter Janis Brooks Burnham (Wayne) of Arkadelphia; her grandchildren, Mike Burnham (Traci) of Benton, Leigh Edmondson (Rick) of Benton, Matt Burnham (Crystal) of Bismarck and Mark Burnham (Jennifer) of Arkadelphia; her great grandchildren, Chase Burnham (Jane) of Springdale, Dylan Burnham of Benton, Jake Edmondson (Hannah) of Little Rock, Emme, Elly Edmondson of Benton, Brantley Jarrell (Sierra) of Sheridan, Carson Burnham of Bismarck, John Brooks Burnham, Josh Burnham and Jack Burnham; and her great great grandchild Lyla Burnham of Arkadelphia.
