He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Dempsey and Nora Belle Goodman Parker, Sr.; and his siblings, Darlene Parker, Doyle of Herman, FD and Floyd Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Mae Hughes Parker of Arkadelphia; his sons, James D. Parker, Jr. of Midway and Michael Rodney Parker (Missy) of Curtis; and his grandchildren, Michael Seth Parker and Alyssa Parker. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
