He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammy Lee Grandy and Lois Rene McGhee; his grandmother Rosie Grandy; and his brother Rodney Keith Grandy Brownlee. He is survived by: his siblings, Sheila Grandy, Eula Grant of Dallas, TX, Kim Robinson of West Memphis, AR, Sammy Leon Grandy (Jacqueline) of Little Rock, AR, James Grandy of Dallas, TX, Herbert "Poncho" Allison of Arkadelphia, AR and Roland Grandy (Pam); his close friend Sahikedia Dobbs of Arkadelphia; his aunts, Mae Lois Calhoun of Arkadelphia and Margie Chambers Smith of Hot Springs, AR; his close friend Ron Hunter of Arkadelphia, AR; and also Brian Morrison of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by several other friends and numerous cousins.
