She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shields and Jewell Currey Shields; her husband Walter Lee Hewell; her son Scott; and her sister Billie Jean Burnett.
She is survived by: her son Rob Hewell; her daughter-in-law Cyndy Hewell; her granddaughters, Kaylyn Hewell and Karyn Rose; her great grandchildren, DJ Hewell and River Hewell; and her niece Susie Slayden. She is also survived by her granddaughters and great-grandsons.
