He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Grant and Grace Sowers Grant; his wife Betty Jo Oliver Grant; and his siblings, James Richard Grant, Jr., George S. Grant, Elizabeth Grant Stanford and Harriet Grant Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Walton (Bill), Shirley Hardin (Phil) and Daniel Ross Grant, Jr. (Liz); his grandchildren, Tad Hardin (Monica), Allison Hyll (Dan), Jon Hardin (Katie), Gary Grant (Katherine) and Gina Scheer (Zach); his great grandchildren, Zachary, Isaac, Charlie and Leo Hardin; and his grandchildren, Keller, Kaleb Hyll, Elliott, Julianne, Mason Grant, Jordan, Adam and Molly Scheer.
He served on numerous boards including the Arkansas Baptist Foundation, Union National Bank, and TCBY.
