He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Nutt and Dora Burchfield Nutt; his wife Pearl Carroll Nutt; and his sons, Travis Nutt and Michael Nutt.
He is survived by: his son Rickey; his daughter-in-law Charlotte Nutt of Amity; his daughter Christine; his children-in-law, Bobby Perkins of Carlisle and Glenda Harding (Kenneth) of Glenwood; and his grandchildren, Kim Moran, Stuart Perkins, Clark Perkins, Jon Nutt, Keli Mount, Brandie Benton and Ryan Nutt. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
