He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Small (Brasell); his parents, Mac Donald and Martha Small (Webb); and his siblings, Marty, Betty, Mary and Okie.

He is survived by: his sons, Robert Small (Dana) of Texarkana and Tod Small of Van Buren; his grandchildren, Brian, Adam, LaCreasha, Daniel, Lexi and Chad (Miles); and his great grandchildren, Makayla, Coby, Serenity, Brooklyn, Nattaley, Jason, Xavier, Anastasia and Allison.
