She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Browning and Lanie Cummings Browning; her husband Harry S. Sheppard, Sr.; and her daughter Emily Brown. She is survived by: her children, Maria Hodges (Troy) of Wedowee and Stanley Sheppard, Jr. (Eileen) of Hartwell, GA; and her grandchildren, Kendal Adamson of Queens, NY, Tom Williams of Brevard, NC, Dalton and Carli Hodges of Wedowee. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
