Virginia McCaleb Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia McCaleb of Winfield, Alabama, born in Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Floyd Duke; her husband Clarence A. McCaleb; her mother Roxie Thrasher Duke; and her siblings, Earline Duke Toczko, Catherine Duke, Floyd Jr., Hanley and Wallace Duke.

She is survived by: her children, Beth M. Jordan (James) of Killen, Kim M. Rowell (Greg) of Jasper, GA and Scott McCaleb (Kim) of Winfield; her grandchildren, Kevin Rowell (Tiffany), Katie Wells (Roger), Chris Rowell, Justin Jordan (Amelia), Lindsay Jordan, Aaron McCaleb, Seth McCaleb (Natasha), Paislee McCaleb, Caleb, Bethany Blackburn (Derrick), Brianna Ford (Gunner) and Alaina Copeland (Trey); and her great grandchildren, Rowan Smiley, Anelise, Emersyn, Preston, Olivia Jordan, Nolan, Anslee, Beckham, Bradley Rowell, Emma McCaleb, Noah, Olivia Copeland, Declan Blackburn and Freya Ford.

“From Billy Davis & Ruth Davis -- We are very sad to find out too late of Virginia's Passing & funeral. Virginia was the beloved 1st cousin of my mother (Delores Thrasher Davis who passed in 2018). This week I heard my Mother tell me to call Virginia for update, but unfortunately waited until today (6/27) & found the obituary instead online. Virginia & Clarence were such fun to be with--especially on my parents' vacations! She was very proud of her family & loved them all! God Blessed her!”
