He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Dobbs Ward; his daughter Jennifer LaShae Ward; his parent Uless Dewey Ward, Sr.; his siblings, Dorothy Agee and Benjamin Ward; and his brothers-in-law, Perry Burns and John Hull.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Vickery Ward; his children, Alicia Cowart (Craig) and Chris Ward; his granddaughter Natalee Ward; and his siblings, Mary Chappell (Seaborn), Freddie Hull, Frances Burnes and Gary W. Ward. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and close friends.
The family request that a face covering be worn and practice social distancing during the services.
