She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Goolsby Langston; her husband Bryce K. Miles; her father Earnest Clety Langston; her sisters, Erdean McDonald and Voncille Petree; and her half-brother Marvin Langston.
She is survived by: her children, Bryce Keith Miles Jr. (Barbara) and Linda Phifer (Tyler); her grandsons, Joe Phifer III (Amy) and Russell Miles Phifer (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Joe Phifer IV, Mary Raynor Phifer, Russell Miles Phifer Jr. and Ella Ann Phifer; and her half-brother Gary Langston.
