He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ray and Annie Lou Hawkins Ray; and his brother Jimmy Paul Ray. He is survived by: his wife Janie Ray; his children, Donald Kilgore (Christy), Dale Kilgore (Lisa), David Kilgore (Teresa), Cathy Westbrook, Melissa Hollingsworth (Josh) and Megan Dodd (Jason); and his mother-in-law Mary C. Cochran. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, four brothers, six sisters.
