It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Alexander of Winfield, Alabama, born in Beaverton, Alabama, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Clyde Alexander; his wife Mary Helen Hollis Alexander; his sister Sue Anderson; and his daughter-in-law Lydia Campbell Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Jill Satcher of Northport, AL, Tom Alexander (Cindy) of Havelock, NC and Chuck Alexander of Madison, AL; his grandchildren, Jeremy Satcher, Daniel Satcher, Janie Alexander DeWitt (Vince) and Hannah Alexander; and his sisters, Judy Alexander of Hamilton, AL and Phyllis Alexander of Seneca, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

The Alexander family prefer that mask or face cover be worn during the visitation and funeral services for Mr. Alexander but is not required.

In lieu of flowers the family request a donation to Gideons International for Bibles, or a gift to the Winfield First United Methodist Church Endowment Fund at P. O. Box 387 Winfield, AL 35594, to be made in Ray's memory.
