It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Enis (Winfield, Alabama), born in Fayette, Alabama, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew David Cowan, Sr. and Leah McCollum Cowan; her son Jimmy Ray Enis; and her siblings, Luteen Cowan, Willie Mae Nalls, Ailus, Clidus, Perry, Thurman and Marvin Cowan.
She is survived by: her daughter Gloria Enis; and her siblings, Gertie L. Farris and Andrew D. Cowan, Jr.. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
