She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Sims, Jr.; her daughter Debra Sims; and her parents, Elmer Beckett and Carrie Nation Beckett. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Marcie Sims and Sonia Sims; her nephew Charles Holcomb (Pam); and her nieces, Judy Brown and Lisa Wiginton (Larry). She is also survived by other family members and friends.
