With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elbert Earl Ivie Sr. of Winfield, Alabama, who passed away on August 17, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. E. Ivie and Ethel Ivie; his sisters, Laura Ann Rhody and Sue Nell Mobley; and his granddaughter Jessica Carr Ivie.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bostick; his sons, Elbert Earl Ivie, Jr. (Barbara) of Winfield, AL and Michael Allen Ivie (Elizabeth) of Winfield, AL; and his grandchildren, Tabitha Lee (Robert), Michael Allen Ivie II, Everett, Benjamin and Andrew Ivie. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
