It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Columbus Butler of Winfield, Alabama, born in Marion, Alabama, who passed away on April 21, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Columbus Butler and Mary Susie Lee Butler; and his sister-in-law Wanda Hallmark Butler. He is survived by: his wife Janice Cleveland Butler; his sons, Brett Butler (Linda) and Bart Butler (Stacey); his stepsons, Chad Barker (Tonya) and Matthew Barker; his grandchildren, Spencer, Dylan and Haley Grace Barker; and his siblings, Loretta Wyers (James), Linda Sue Perry (Lloyd Allen), Clarence "Buddy" Butler, Tony Butler (Margene) and Samuel "Sambo" Butler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other close family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Caregivers Organization at the Winfield Church of Christ, 151 Apache Street, Winfield Alabama 35594.
