He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Dodd; his parents, Dilton Dodd and Ethel McDonald Dodd; and his brothers-in-law, Doug Reese, Macky Tucker and Joe Dale Tucker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jan Dodd and Maggie Doles (Cody); his grandchildren, Shawn Gilbert (Jenna), Allan Gilbert (Dannah), Sara Gilbert and Valarie Shirley (Hayes); his great grandchildren, Bailee, Cohen Gilbert, Leyah Key, Kingston, Zandria McCollum, Jack, Olivia Shirley and Riggs Gilbert; his brothers, David Dodd (Sarah) and Roger Dodd (Debbie); and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Reese, Karen Matthews (Kent) and Eddie Tucker (Julie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
