She was predeceased by: her husband Russell Frank Sparks; and her great grandchild Gabriel Mangram. She is survived by: her son Jerald Sparks (Cheryl); her granddaughter Christina Sparks Carter; her great grandchildren, Chance Mangram (Chasidy) and Rachel Mangram; and her great great grandchildren, Saige Mangram, Christian Mangram and Berkley Peters. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in her memory to Children's Hospital of Alabama.
