With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James M Weldon of Trussville, Alabama, born in Wetumpka, Alabama, who passed away on July 1, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dean Couey Weldon; and his grandson Michael James Weldon. He is survived by: his children, Karen Weldon of Trussville, AL, James M Weldon Jr. of Frisco, TX and Kelley Holland of Trussville, AL.; his grandchildren, Jonathan Weldon, Holley House-Thompson, Freeman Voyles and Jackson Holland; and his sister Emily Thompson of Atlanta.

In Lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Humane Society of Birmingham.
