He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyndon Etheredge and Frances Abbott Etheredge; and his grandparents, Blaine, Ethel Etheredge, D. A. and Clara Abbott.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Bowman Etheredge; his daughters, Tiffany Kirby (Ethan) and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Etheredge; and his granddaughter Abigail Hood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
