He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hooks; his children, Flora Ellis (Arzie Ellis) of Tallassee, Alabama, Gwendolyn Jones of Tallassee, Alabama, Donna Ziegler (Scott Ziegler) of Tallassee, Alabama, Robert Hooks (Pinkie Hooks) of Cleveland, George Hooks III (Sanquanette Hooks) of Tallassee, Tony Hooks (Jeanette Hooks) of Tallassee, Derrick Hooks of Tallassee, Kenny Hooks (Dorothy Hooks) of Tuscaloosa and Daron Hooks of Greenville; his grandchildren, Kim Crockett, Kierra Sullen and Adrian Hooks; and his goddaughter Evelyn Blalock. He is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
