He is survived by: his wife Candi Burkhalter of Sylacauga; his children, Crystal Gooden (David) of Sylacauga, Tiffany Minnifield (Maurice) of Pike Road, Meghan McDonald (Cody) of Sylacauga, Andrew Burkhalter of Dadeville and Levi Barnett of Sylacauga; his grandchildren, Carmen, Haley, Destiny, Faith, Chloe, Aiden, Brantley, Madelyn and Noah; and his siblings, Brenda Gibson (Robert) of Rockford, Stacy Radcliffe (Sonny) of Stewartville and Rev. James "Jay" Burkhalter (Jennifer) of Jacksons Gap. He is also survived by two nieces, two nephews, and a large extended family.
