She was predeceased by: her former husband Larry Phurrough; her parents, Louis Hammonds and Flora Wesson; and her stepfather Arlon Wesson. She is survived by: her husband Mackie Giddens; her sisters, Sue McGrady, Carol Baird and Sherry Byler; her daughters, Tammy Ashworth (Glenn) and Amber Phurrough-Borstelmann (Carol Borstelmann); her grandchildren, Misti Johnson (Scott) and Blaine Green (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Connor Spivey, Ella-Kate Green, Tatum Green, Addyson Johnson and Anna-Grace Green; and her stepchildren, Alan Giddens (Shellia), Tammy Terrell (Tony) and Dawn Hardiman (Kevin).
