She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Mitchell; and her parents, Jack Strickland and Madge Coleman Strickland. She is survived by: her daughter Jeri Melinda Rayfield (Brian); her grandchildren, Stacey Godfrey (Chris), Ashley Winther (Abby) and Lauren Nixon (Sheldon); and her great grandchild Josie Byrd. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
