With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Luther Dennis (Sylacauga, Alabama), who passed away on November 2, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. V. Dennis and Daisy Mae Dennis; and his siblings, John Dennis, Merle Marcus and Dot Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dennis; his children, John Dennis (Riki), Carman Goben (Jim) and Lavelle Noblitt (Sam); and his grandchildren, Matthew Dennis, Maria Dennis, Lindsay Goben, Samantha Crotzer and Seth Noblitt. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent in memory of Luther Dennis to the Masonic Scholarship fund of Coosa Valley Lodge 929, P.O. Box 1261 Sylacauga AL 35150.
