He is survived by: his mother Minnie Belle Wright Thweatt; his wife Helen Benton Thweatt; his daughters, Jessica Mathes (Mitchell) and Adrienne Mayben (Luke); his sister Ann Santos (Carlos); his siblings-in-law, Robert Benton, Michael Benton, Connie Knotts (Donnie) and Marsheela Brasher; and his grandchildren, Stephen Mathes and Reagan Mayben.
