She is survived by: her son Tracy Thornton of Sylacauga; her daughters-in-law, Rhonda Thornton of Pass Christian and Brenda Thornton of Sylacauga; and her brother Frank Abernathy (Carol) of Joliet. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
