He is survived by: his son Richard Earnest Downing (Julia); his siblings, James Downing, Ray Downing and Mary Meeker; his grandchildren, Taylor Downing, Tisha Downing, Adison Downing, Jacob Newton and Cassie Chavers; and his great grandchildren, Tanner, Cody, Brandalyn, Alaina, Richard Parker, Audri, Brayden, Dawson and Anniston.
