He is survived by: his wife Mimi Tate of Sulligent, AL; his children, Donald Rodney Tate, Jr. (Corina), Joseph Tate of Liberty Hill, TX and Tammy Sides (Scott) of Collinsville, TX; his sisters, Amelia Snead (John) of Arley, AL and Connie Mullins (James) of Jasper, AL.; his grandsons, Anthony Sides, Joshua Sides and Marcus Sides; and his great grandchildren, Brayden Sides, Tealy Claire Sides, Millie Scott Sides and Hope Olivia Phalin.
