She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas W. Shipp, Sr. and Geraldine Shipp; her husband Gene Allen Harbison; her brother Thomas W. Shipp, Jr.; and her son-in-law Ronnie Potter.

She is survived by: her children, Wendy Potter and Judson Harbison (Sharon); her grandchildren, Jasmine Harbison and Dakota Harbison; her pet Bama; her brother Archie Shipp (Nelda); her sister-in-law Edwina Shipp; and her aunt Lois Dukes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
