He is survived by: his parents, David S. Lewis and Elizabeth Posey Lewis of Decatur, AL; his wife Joy Lewis of Somerville, AL; his children, Whitney Lewis Rasmussen (Johnathan), Autumn Lewis, Zachary Lewis of Somerville, AL, Christian Lewis and Reagan Lewis; his siblings, Daniel Stevens (Summer), Dawn Bond (Donald), Wadesboro, Denise Ratje (Dan), Pallbearers and Deacons; and also Johnathan.
In lieu of flowers; the family encourages donations be made to the Hope House sponsored by Somerville Baptist Church.
