He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer L. Smith and Lou Ella Smith; his son Lynn; and his brothers, Sam Smith and Matthew Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa; his siblings, Clyde Smith, Freeman, Marvaleen Reeves, Jewel Coggin and Lorene; and his grandchildren, Katie Kittrell, Alex Woodham and Tori Smith.
