It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Ruth Moore Kahrs (Somerville, Alabama), who passed away on December 28, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Rema and Agnes Holton Moore; her husband Edward R. Kahrs; her brother Tracy R. Moore; and her sister-in-law Jean Raburn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Lynn Kahrs and Julie Lee Kahrs; her nieces and nephews, Kathie Davis, Paula Gay (James), Patti Wimpy (David), Murray Wilkerson (Kathy) and Steven Wilkerson; and also Carylon Henderson Fechser. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to New Canaan Baptist Church of Morgan County or ShareHouse Ministries in Morgan City, 3200 Rescue Road, Lacey's Spring, AL 35754.
