He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Hunkeapillar and Mary Hazel Fletcher Hunkeapillar; and his sisters, Mary Ann Moore, Betty Wilson and Virginia Starnes.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Thomas Hunkeapillar; his daughters, Donna Ford and Debra Hunkeapillar; his grandson Thomas Wayne Byrum; his great grandchildren, Gauge Byrum, Jessi Goostree and Joseph Goostree; his brother Marlin Hunkeapillar; his sister-in-law Judy; and his sister June Ratley.
