She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Ernest Vernon Stabler, Sr. and Annie Hunter Acker Stabler; her brothers, Dr. Paul Acker Stabler and Dr. E. Vernon Stabler, Jr.; and her friend Larry McCarthy.
She is survived by: her children, Shannon Hunter Coleman Gray (Alan) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Wade Hampton Coleman IV (Tara) of Aurora, CO and Dr. Paul Stabler Linden (Amy) of Hattiesburg, MS.; her grandchildren, Seaborn Gray (Angela), Stabler Gray (Haley), Dr. Hampton Gray (Marsha), Kate Strohmeyer (Scott), Cammie Bentley (Brett), Aaron Coleman (Jenna), Josh Coleman, Anna Mayo (Aaron), Sarah Jennings (Matt), Marcus Linden and Emma Linden; and her sister Annie Hunter Stabler Galloway (Bob). She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
