It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Smith Brizendine Strawn of Scottsboro, Alabama, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Harold Brizendine; her parents, Leonard Smith and Alma Lea Smith; her siblings, Peggy Waldon, Virginia "Junnie" Brown and Jacky Smith; and her niece Wendy Rounsavall Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband James Strawn; her children, Stoney Brizendine (Georgina) and Hope Martin (Hayden); her grandchildren, Kenneth Strawn (Billie), Shelia Manning (Chris), Trey Brizendine (Chelsea), Peyton Brizendine, Kayla Wilborn (Johnathon), Brandon Strawn (Nicole), Chelsea Strawn, Christopher Manning, Jamie Manning, Sam Manning and Jacob Manning; and her siblings, Bruce "Sonny" Smith, Lucille McDonald, Mary Derhammer (Tim), Susie Smith and Connie Rounsavall (Don). She is also survived by several great Grandchildren.
