She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemmie Rooks and Eliz Rooks; her sons, Johnathan McWhorter and Scottie McWhoter; and her siblings, Cheri Malbie, Joyce Dixon, Lina Rooks and Gene Rooks.
She is survived by: her daughter Penny Jo Harris (James); her brother David Rooks (Tina); and her grandchildren, Bentley Puckett, Jolie McWhorter, Jessie Harris, Samuel Harris and Whitley Harris.
