He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalmer Tidwell and Willie Nell Davis Tidwell. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Tidwell; his stepson Neil Kelley; and his sisters, Charlene Monk (Michael), Sheila Ann Hendershot (Warren), Glenda Nell Burruss (Allan) and Patricia Sue McGee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
