She was predeceased by: her parents, James Matthews and Priscilla Matthews; her husband Ray; her sons, Samuel and Jerry Allen; her siblings, Leola Pritchett, Mildred Brewster, Robert, Herman, Marvin and Benjamin Matthews; and her grandson Jonathan Allen.
She is survived by: her daughter Melvina Williams; her daughter-in-law Iris Allen; her grandchildren, Christy Molenkamp (Hans), Karen Williams, James, Joseph Allen and Jared Park; her sister Bernice Baty; and her grandsons, Nathan, Ian Molenkamp, Fredrick and Thomas Allen-Hobe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
