With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Lumsden (Sand Rock, Alabama), born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on July 6, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pleamon and Jennie Hampton Lumsden; and his siblings, Lottle Mae Hale, Josephine Bagwell, Viva Lou Little, Calvin Lumsden and Doyle Lumsden.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Battles Lumsden of Sand Rock; his sons, Billy Lumsden (Shirley) of Sand Rock and Steve Lumsden (Sandy) of Sand Rock; his grandchildren, Lori Harris (Brandon), Tyler Lumsden (Laura), Ross Lumsden (Laura) and Maggie Lyn Lumsden; and his great grandchildren, John William, Bailey Harris, Isabel Lumsden and Charlie Lumsden.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made American Alzheimer's Association.
