He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Bone Spears; his grandchildren, Leslie Hopper (Scott), Nathan Lee (Haley) and Jessica Lee; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Hudson Hopper; and his brother Jimmy Spears (Pauline). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
