She was predeceased by: her husband Doyle Hightower; her son Jimmy Hightower; her grandchildren, Leath Roberts, Josh Hightower and Jill Roberts; her great grandchild Bryson Green; her son-in-law Darrell Roberts; and her parents, Edward Tinsley and Effie Black Tinsley.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Hightower (Beverley) of Leesburg, Sandra Roberts of Leesburg and Amy Oliver (Steve) of Sand Rock; her daughter-in-law Ann Hightower Wiseman of Leesburg; her sister-in-law Jean Tinsley of Boaz; and her close friends, Joyce Hilyer, Nancy Winston and Georgia Mae Evans. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
