He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Knowles and Iris Preachers Knowles; and his siblings, Bonita Bowers, Hollis Ray and Brian Knowles.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deneice Knowles Tucker (Matthew), Birmingham, Jeannie Knowles (Clay Carroll) of Chancellor and Ashley Knowles Rider (Roderick) of Samson; his grandchildren, T. J. Dean (Amanda), Mason Welsh of James, Kirkland, Destiny Newell, Hunter Carroll, Everleigh, Gunner and Sawyer Rider; his great grandchildren, Hagen and Kantlee Dean; and his siblings, Edwin "Red" Knowles of Samson and Charlotte Driggers of Enterprise. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and close friends.
