It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Kate Davis of Samson, Alabama, born in Geneva, Alabama, who passed away on June 22, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Bob and Georgia Barnes Russell; her husband Harold Gene Davis; and her brother Hubert "Russ" Russell. She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Davis Brown (Rodney W.) of Pensacola, FL and Kimberly Davis McKenzie (Ryan) of Samson, AL; her grandchildren, Josh Brown (Amanda) of Pensacola, FL, Zack Brown (Nicole) of Pensacola, FL, Davis McKenzie of Samson, AL and Ben McKenzie of Samson, AL; her great grandchildren, Bexton of Pensacola, FL and Kenzie of Pensacola, FL; her nephew Benjie Holley; and her close friends, Jean Mock, Mary Kyles, Frosty Johnson and Jessica Brandenburg. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
