He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lee Hayes, Sr. and Mary Henrietta Kirkland Hayes; his father-in-law S. N. "Bo" Revels; and his sister-in-law Carol R. Owens. He is survived by: his wife Nett Hayes of Samson, AL; his daughter Ashley Deffinbaugh (Justin) of Hartford, AL; his sister Mary Ann Hayes of Geneva, AL; his mother-in-law Susie Revels; his siblings-in-law, David Revels (Susan) and Traci McCoy (Scott); and his nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Baxley (Travis), Kallie Holt (Jordan), Nathan Owens, Kristen Gracia (Josh), Hunter McCoy, Hayden McCoy and Halli McCoy. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
