He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Cathcart and Vivian Cathcart; his sisters, Nora Swindel, Jean Timmons and Geraldine Loden; his son Chris Hooper; and his grandson Dustin Tays.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Cathcart, Jr., Marquita Cathcart, Pristina Haddock (Randal) and Shannon Tays (Troy); and his brother Charles Richey (Jeanie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
