He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Barnes; and his brother Gary Barnes. He is survived by: his mother Jackie Fox; his children, Morris Barnes (Amy), Melissa Holden (Clay) and Josh Barnes (Katrina); his grandchildren, Hannah Denton (Aaron), Easton Holden, Emmett Holden and Elli Holden; his siblings, Vonda Green, Debbie Devaney, Donna Walker and Johnny Nichols; and his close friend Larry Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
