She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Thigpen (Shankum) and Roenie Thigpen of Lexington, Alabama.; her husband Carl Green; and her siblings, Dalton Thigpen, Otis Thigpen and Geneva Elledge.
She is survived by: her children, Rickey Green (Alice), Karen Sutton (Shannon) and Mark Green (Belinda); her grandchildren, Dakotah "Cody" Green (Mary), Mollie Ball (Casey), Maggie Killen (Raleigh), Tara Schurfeld, Katie Eldridge (Taylor) and Braxton Davis; her great grandchildren, Charlee Ball, Vivian Kate Eldridge and Slade Schurfeld; and her brothers, Wayne Thigpen (Faye) and Gerald Thigpen (Rozell). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws, and cousins.
